My Memorial Day Vacation

Honestly, I would have much rather gotten out of school 3 days earlier than have a 5 day vacation although it was a lot of fun. Well thursday was our last day of school during the week because they gave us friday off. Me and two of my friends went into town and saw Ironman. That was such a good movie. I am sure that everyone after watching that movie wants a suit just like his. Too bad that technology doesnt exist yet, or does it?? Then friday i went to out and chilled with a bunch of people I dont know. It was a very interesting experience. One of my friends who usually is very social, was one of the most quiet people there. He was so unbelievably shy. It honestly shocked me, but i guess u learn something everyday. Then on saturday i went out into town again with the same friends and saw Indiana Jones, and I never knew old men could be so athletic. Jesus Harrison ford is a very talented man. It was a very exciting movie and I completly recommend seeing it. Sunday was a pretty relazing day. It was mostly just playing basketball and chillin with my friends at party. Monday was a paintballing spree. IT was so much fun. My friend who has like a $500 gun shot me right in the neck and ive never been in so much pain. That was pretty much my weekend. Now today in English my teacher put a quote on the board that i thought was pretty funny. " The statistics on sanity are that one in every four is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they're ok, then it's you." (Rita Mae Brown) I thought this quote was very funny and I got a good laugh form it.

Comparison between Essay body paragraph and Research body Paragraph

In Montana 1948, Wesley, David’s father, and Frank, David’s’ uncle, seem to be compared to each other and Wesley always loses. Wesley is tall and broad-shouldered. He was an impressive man and pleasant looking but when lined up with his brother he seems inferior to his brother. His brother is as tall and broad-shouldered as he is but he’s more. Uncle Frank was also handsome with dark wavy hair and he was a high school and college football star, and a genuine war hero. It would seem as if these qualities between two brothers would bring some type of jealously which would lead to rivalry. Sibling rivalry always starts when one gets something the other wants and then the two fight over it or compete for it. Siblings love to try and get more than the other in order to be better than the other. I know that I always try and out do my brothers and I usually win, but for some reason there is always jealousy between brothers.

Brothers and sisters always fight, bicker, and argue. It can get really annoying to the point where you want to punch your brother or sister. So how can you stop it? Well, you can find something to do that your brother or sister doesn’t like (Henry 2008). This way you can do something you enjoy that you wont have to fight about with your brother or sister. This is a great way to solve sibling rivalry because you wont have your sibling trying to do better than you at something they don’t like. For me, I go paint balling because I know my brother doesn’t like it like I do. My brother on the other hand skateboards because I don’t have any interest in it. I think skateboarding is stupid and he thinks paint balling is stupid so neither of us fight over it. This is great because we can both do something we enjoy without arguing about it with each other. Since neither of us enjoy what the other does, when one of gets something new we don’t really care because we don’t really like it that much, so we don’t compete over resources like most sibling do. In Montana 1948, Uncle Frank and Wesley went different ways than each other. Uncle Frank went into the army and Wesley went to become a lawyer. This is a clear example of siblings going into different occupations so they don’t compete. This idea works in my life and works in Montana 1948.

While writing these paragraphs I felt that with the research paragraph you needed to make more connections. In the regular essay body paragraph the basic outline is- Topi sentence, example, analysis of example, then a conclusion, but in the research body paragraph the basic outline is topic sentence, research example, analysis of research example, book example, analysis of book example, and a conlusion. So as you can see in the research body paragraph, you need to connect the research with the book. This makes the research paragraph a lot stronger than a regular essay because it backs the book up with actual facts. You also make more connections. I feel that whenever i write a paragraph for an essay to make a connection to my life to how a deeper understanding of the topic in the paragraph. This makes the paragraph a lot stronger. Research paragraphs are a lot stronger than regular essay ,but do require more work and effort to put into the paper. Overall a research paragragh is a better paragraph than a regular essay paragraph because they are a lot stronger.
